1. Overview
Prizee hunts are skill-based competitions where participants use navigation, observation, speed, and problem-solving to locate hidden objectives in the real world. Outcomes are determined entirely by participant skill — there is no element of chance. These rules apply to all hunts hosted on the Prizee platform.
2. Eligibility
- Free hunts: Open to all users aged 13 and older.
- Paid hunts: Restricted to users aged 18 and older who have verified their identity.
- Employees and immediate family of Prizee LLC are not eligible for prizes.
- Void where prohibited by law. Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations.
3. How Hunts Work
Prizee offers multiple hunt formats. All require physical presence at designated locations:
- Live Hunt — Race to a hidden GPS location in real-time.
- Video Hunt — Record video proof at the objective location.
- Team Hunt — Collaborate with teammates to complete group checkpoints.
- Mystery Drop — Location revealed at hunt start; first to arrive wins.
- Photo Hunt — Submit photo evidence matching target objectives.
- Multi-Stop Rally — Complete a series of checkpoints in sequence.
4. Prizes & Payouts
- Prize amounts and distribution are set by the hunt creator before the hunt goes live.
- All prizes for paid hunts are fully funded by the creator before the hunt begins.
- Winners are notified via in-app notification and push notification (if enabled).
- Payouts are processed through Stripe within 3-7 business days of hunt completion.
- Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes on prizes received.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for alternative forms of payment.
5. Fair Play & Disqualification
Prizee uses multiple detection systems to ensure fair play. The following will result in immediate disqualification and potential account termination:
- GPS spoofing, location mocking, or any form of location manipulation.
- Using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage.
- Colluding with other participants to manipulate outcomes.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts during hunts.
- Interfering with other participants' ability to compete.
- Submitting fraudulent evidence (photos, videos) for hunt objectives.
Disqualified participants forfeit all prizes. Decisions by Prizee regarding disqualification are final.
6. Creator Responsibilities
- Creators must fully fund prize pools before publishing paid hunts.
- Hunt locations must be publicly accessible, safe, and legal to visit.
- Creators must not direct participants to dangerous or restricted areas.
- Creators must respond to participant disputes within 48 hours.
- Creators who consistently receive low ratings (below 4.0) may have their publishing privileges suspended.
7. Safety
Your safety is your responsibility. Always be aware of your surroundings while participating in hunts. Do not trespass on private property, jaywalk, drive while using the app, or put yourself in dangerous situations. Prizee LLC is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that occur during hunt participation.
8. Governing Law
